These steps were performed on an iPhone 6 Plus, in iOS 8.1.2. Steps may vary on versions of iOS prior to iOS 7. Most of the ringtones in the iTunes Store cost money, so you will need to have a payment method associated with your Apple ID. Additionally, you will need to know the password for the Apple ID in order to complete the purchase.
